AG Trio

Each member of the AG Trio is a graduate from the prestigious Trinity College of Music in London, where they have trained to a professional standard, specialising in Jazz, Latin and Popular music performance.

The band size can range from solo jazz piano, up to a full jazz quintet including saxophone and female vocals, playing a wide variety of classic jazz standards, as well as Latin tunes and Popular hits.

Meet the trios
Aidan – Piano

Aidan has been playing many styles of music from a young age. He has had most of his experience performing and recording Jazz with a variety of different singers and instrumentalists. His work has taken him to many venues around the UK, including the Isle of Wight Jazz Festival and worldwide cruise ships. He has also found his way into Jazz Education. Aidan, having studies Jazz at Chichester College, has now progressed to graduating from Trinity College Of Music, where he studied with a scholarship. Throughout his education he has studied under musicians such as Nick Weldon, Simon Purcell, Martin Speake, Steve Watts, Dave Wickins, Julian Siegal, Mark Lockheart, and many more.

Paul – Bass

Paul has recently graduated from Trinity College Of Music after completing a four year degree and is now working around the country as a freelance musician. During this time Paul has has the opportunity to play at many venues in London, such as Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, and has recently completed a European tour with his own band. He has become increasingly involved in Jazz Education, having taken part in workshops in local schools, with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and most recently at the Wigmore Hall in London. He has been tutored by many top musicians such as Steve Watts, Paul Westwood, Simon Purcell and Martin Speake.

Lorraine – Drums and Percussion

Lorraine has recently completed her studies at Trinity College Of Music from which she received First Class Honours. During this time she has performed at many prestigious venues including the Vortex Jazz Club, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Tokyo Opera House, Isle Of Wight Jazz Festival, Big Sky Jazz Festival to name a few, as well as recording for BBC Radio One’s “Live Lounge” and BBC Radio Four’s “Sunday Worship.” Originating in Kent, Lorraine regularly performs with professional outfits such as the Kent Concert Orchestra. She has been mentored by top international Jazz drummers Dave Wickins, (Kirk Lightsey) and Gene Calderazzo, (Partisans) and played with Boris Koslov, (Mingus Big Band) Uri Caine, Hein Van Der Gein, Julian Siegal, Steve Watts, Pete Saberton, Lianne Carroll and Simon Purcell to name a few.
